Well hello! I've fallen off the face of planet when it comes to blogging. It's time for me to try and make a comeback for 2018. This blog post is long overdue. It's time for me to break down some details behind this photo shoot that I got to do with Jenna Crandall (@jenzyphotos).

I met Jenna because I worked with her brother. We decided that we would do a collab and met for the first time to do a shoot last year. Jenna is an incredible photographer. She's so easy to work with and is so open to experiment and try new things with photography. After our first collab, she reached out to me a couple months ago to do another collab with me. Instead of me styling a model like I did for our first collab, I pitched the idea of allowing me to model so that I could share some fashion trends and tips with you.

We decided that we wanted to shoot on Provo Center Street. Yeah I know, everyone shoots there. Haha. But we wanted to get as many different backgrounds aesthetically as possible in a short amount of time and Center Street is the perfect place for that. I was able to do two separate outfits for the shoot and this is just one of them.

So here's a breakdown of this outfit.

Knit Tunic -Unknown($1) // I thrifted this item from a local thrift store called Tags. Every day they have a $1 colored tag and I just so happened to pick out this item which was originally a knit floor length dress! For some reason it caught my attention and I immediately pictured it hemmed. I hemmed it to be knee length and where it as a tunic. It was such a small adjustment to the original item but this tunic is one of my favorite items in my wardrobe now!

Shorts -H&M ($7) // I purchased my black shorts while they were on clearance. It doesn't look like they're in stock anymore, but you can still find some other colors that are available! These shorts are very comfortable and I love that they fall right above the knee. You can shop for these shorts here.

Hat - H&M($18) // This hat is such a huge fashion staple for my wardrobe. I wear it all the time! It goes great with anything. You can still find this exact hat online! Click here to shop!

Shoes - Call It Spring ($5) // I happened to thrift these shoes from Savers. They were only $5 and in super good condition, so how could I resist? I wasn't able to find this exact pair online, but I was able to find something super similar from Call It Spring's website and you can view it here.

It was really interesting to be able to step in front of the camera. I loved having the opportunity to work with Jenna again and the photos came out so good. You guys should all really go and check out her work on Instagram (@jenzyphotos) because I feel like she's up and coming! I'm excited to share more fashion essentials with all of you through this blog and so stay tuned to see the other outfit that I modeled when I shot with Jenna!
